A locally owned lube center that grew into two, and a car wash that was torn down and rebuilt as an express tunnel. Serving San Angelo since 2016, still run by the people whose name is on the sign.

Sherwood Way opens
A locally owned quick-lube with a full-service car wash next door, on the west side of San Angelo.

Verified customers rate the Sherwood Way lube center a CARFAX Top-Rated Service Center — the first of five straight years.
- 2021
Lube Center North
A second lube center opens at 23rd and North Bryant, in a rebuilt former KFC. An $800,000 project, announced April 2021.

Why rebuild
The old full-service wash was slow. The new one is three minutes and a towel dry.
The Sherwood Way wash closed, was gutted, and reopened in 2025 as an express tunnel with a vacuum canopy and a license-plate member lane — so the free wash that comes with every oil change is a proper wash, not a favor.
